Following admission as an Attorney in the State of New York, Queenette gained significant experience at the Law Office of Joyce Shatteen in Dallas, Texas. Here, she honed her skills by providing invaluable immigration advice and support.

Queenette adeptly navigated various immigration matters including adjustment of status through family-based applications, spousal visas, and employment visas.

Before her stateside endeavors, Queenette served as a Senior Associate at Streamsowers & Kohn, a prestigious commercial law firm in Nigeria. In this role, she provided comprehensive business advisory services and represented a diverse clientele, including corporates, individuals, and government institutions. Queenette’s prowess extended to disputes before the courts, corporate restructuring, investment finance, contractual agreements in the oil and gas and real estate sectors, intellectual property matters, and policy advisory for government and local and foreign investors.

Beyond her professional achievements, Queenette is deeply committed to public service. She actively engages in volunteer pro bono work, offering legal advice and representation to indigent individuals and businesses that would otherwise be unable to afford legal services.

Queenette obtained her Bachelor of Laws degree from the University of Calabar in 2007 and also holds a Masters in Corporate and Financial Law, 2012 from Kingston University, London. In addition, she has also obtained Post Graduate Diploma in International Business Practices (New York Program) in 2015, in collaboration with St Mary’s University, Twickenham, London.
